Is it a stroke? Check these signs and BE FAST!
When it comes to having a stroke, acting fast can help save your life. Check out the infographic below and learn how to recognize signs and symptoms so if stroke strikes, you’re ready.
Starting care as quickly as possible reduces the risk of death caused by stroke. It can also limit the risk of stroke causing other long-term damages to your health. When learning the signs and symptoms of a stroke, remember to B.E. F.A.S.T.
B = Sudden loss of balance or coordination.
E = Sudden change in vision.
F = Sudden weakness of the face.
A = Sudden weakness of an arm.
S = Sudden difficulty speaking.
T = Time the symptoms started.
If you suspect someone is having a stroke, call 911 immediately. Every minute counts!
