Ukraine says it has retaken about 3,000 square kilometers of territory since early September, mainly in the Kharkiv region.

LOn Monday morning, the Ukrainian military announced that it had captured “more than 20 areas” in 24 hours as part of its counteroffensive against the Russian military.
“The liberation of local governments from Russian invaders continues in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions” (East), the army said in its morning statement.
